Renee and Aaron Wedding
Renee and Aaron manage one of the most picturesque retreats near Perth CBD. Yarrabah Retreat offers luxury accommodation and is situated in Jarrahdale.
First came the ceremony on a beautiful stretch of beach near Point Peron.
With lots of fun and kidding around the bridal shoot finished at Yarrabah where they choose to hold their reception outdoors.
Clearly this one falls into my 10 top greatest “Weddings of All Time”. I do not joke about this…

Teele and Chris Wedding
Who ever said a wedding took a tonne of work, planning and money to make magical? Well I certainly thought so! In fact if you have the absolute best bridesmaids in town, you don’t need many of the usual wedding professionals to make a wedding successful, IF YOU HAVE PROFESSIONAL HAIR/MAKEUP ARTISTS AND FLORIST IN THE BRIDAL PARTY. That’s what Teele had, lucky girl.
I learned so many cool tricks from Teele and Chris’s wedding I just have to share these on my blog now. First of all hair and makeup was all done by the bride and her bridesmaids AND in record time. The dress? Why by one in a wedding store and get it altered anyway when Teele’s figure in a perfect match for a dry cleaner’s store display. A beautiful brand new dress ready just for her! Must be fate. (Appearently the groom picked that one).
When the flowers arrived, I though wow, what an unusual arrangement. Actually these were all loose roses delivered 30 minutes before the ceremony and yes the Maid of Honour was fast at work making 4 bridal bouquets.
Music for the ceremony? No worries, the bride was on to it as she made her way out the door, saving her playlist ready for the celebrant.
Amazing I thought! Zero stress with all the right boxes ticked.
The ceremony was magnificently directed by Brad Whitelock under a near cloudless midday sun. The bride and her bridesmaids walked towards the waves down the aisle of sand barefoot. A beautiful beach wedding fitted with Bali-style wind-flags and guest chairs.
For a September wedding we were lucky with the weather- no wind, little clouds and 25′C day, perfect. As a photographer I am surprised how EXTRA great the photos turned out, not as many squinting, flies or facial shadows as could have been expected.
Salt on the Beach is a great wedding venue for a more relaxed type of wedding. Teele and Chris had a flowing lunch time reception. The cocktail style food is outstanding and they have a dedicated pizza chef in the main pub area.
